Welcome to Gayvan.com - Gay Vancouver Guide

Our Gay Vancouver and Gay Canada guides offer information on events, hotels and gay-friendly businesses in the Vancouver region, across Canada and beyond.

Right now our 12th annual Gay Friendly Vancouver - In Town Guide is available all over town, our online digitial edition is also live, and our GayVan mobile app is available for free for smartphones of all types.

Free copies will be available in print at the Tourism Vancouver Visitor Centre, the BC Visitor Centre at the Peace Arch on the Canada/U.S.A. border, at various locations throughout Davie Village, other parts of Vancouver and beyond. We are currenly working on our 11th annual Gay Friendly Canada guide print edition has been distributed coast to coast, and the current digital edition is also available on the right side of this page. 

Upcoming on stage in Vancouver, "4000 Miles", "2014 Pick of The Fringe" and :My Rabbi" are features of the new fall lineup has for the Arts Club Theatre, Theatre Sports have a full schedule of Comedy Improv or Improv Test Kitchen, and check out The Cultch and Zee Zee Theatre, to see What's On and coming up. Also amazing exhibits are on right now at the Maritime Museum, Bill Reid Gallery and the Vancouver Art Gallery. 

"Blake Shelton", "Russell Peters", "Fleetwood Mac" and "Usher" are just a few of those on the calendar in the weeks ahead and now is the time to grab tickets for "George Takei", who is coming to the city with a one-man feature at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre! The VIFF kicks off this month, with a full lineup of LGBT films on the calendar as well.

Of course, there's lots on the calendar in Davie Village and other venues around town, as party animals line up for "Tuesdays @ Celebrities", "Cocky Thursdays" and Peach Cobblah's "Shame Spiral" at 1181. "Liberace Thursdays" at Celebrities has a ever-changing list of special guests, nightly DJ's spin at the PumpJack, "Helicopter Thursdays" take it all off and the always popular "Absolutly Dragulous" Show is at at The Junction. "The Bobbers" are back with their hiliarious comedy nights and "Monroe" are on at Heaven's Door. The Cobalt anchors the East Side, with a whole new series of events, including "Hustla: Beach Body" and more.

"Joan - Eleveneightone" and "Show Tunes" is on at 1181, Karaoke Box is on every night upstairs at Numbers Cabaret if you want to test the vocal chords and The PumpJack just completed a grand scale expansion, adding another dance space to Davie Village. 

There's a full lineup of September events of interest on the calendar right now and we just added our first Halloween event for 2014! What a great time to visit, or to get out there and celebrate if you live here!  All this and more: Check it Out!
