Free copies of our 11th annual Gay Friendly Vancouver - In Town Guide are available in print at the Tourism Vancouver Visitor Centre, the BC Visitor Centre at the Peace Arch on the Canada/U.S.A. border, at various locations throughout Davie Village and other parts of Vancouver. Our 10th annual Gay Friendly Canada guide print edition came off the press in December and was distributed coast to coast, as well as in Las Vegas, Whistler and Vancouver in January. Digital editions of both publications are also available on the right side of this page.
On mainstream stages in Vancouver, "Helen Lawrence"and "Kim's Convenience" are features currently running or coming up soon at Arts Club Theatre venues, Theatre Sports have a full lineup of Comedy Improv or Improv Test Kitchen, and check out The Cultch and Zee Zee Theatre, to see What's On and coming up. There are also amazing exhibits at the Maritime Museum, Bill Reid Gallery and the Vancouver Art Gallery.
"Michael Buble" is coming home for a visit, "CHER's Dressed to Kill Tour" tiks are on sale, as well as "Lady GaGa's Artpop Tour" and "Lionel Richie" with Vancouver dates in May. Elton John also just announced a fall concert in the city!
Of course, there's lots on the calendar in Davie Village and other venues around town, as party animals line up for "Tuesdays @ Celebrities", "Cocky Thursdays" celebrates 4 years at 1181 and "Liberace Thursdays" at Celebrities has as special guest from Ru Paul's Drag Race Season 6. Nightly DJ's spin at the PumpJack, there's a new "Helicopter Thursdays" starting this week and the always popular "Absolutly Dragulous" Show at at The Junction. "The Bobbers" are back with their hiliarious comedy nights, "Thickset" and "Truckerdisco" are all on at Heaven's Door.
"Joan - Eleveneightone" and "Show Tunes" is on at 1181, there's the long running Sunday "Kegger" at the PumpJack and Karaoke Box is on every night upstairs at Numbers Cabaret if you want to test the vocal chords.
The town is also letting the sunshine in on the patios of the pubs and bars along Davie Street and spring is in the air. All this and more: Check it Out!
