Saturday June 25, 2016 @ 11am-6pm
Grandview Park, Commercial Drive 

Kick off the Pride Season at the site of the historic Stonewall Festival! East Side Pride offers a chance to take in the work of local artisans and learn more about community groups doing important work in and with the LGBTQ+ community in Vancouver. Look forward to acoustic performances by local bands and serenades by some of the East Side’s top drag performers.

Grandview Park, like all of Vancouver’s parks, is completely accessible. Shade tenting will be provided beside cement pathways for those with mobility issues. ASL interpreters and a signing area will be provided by the B.C. Rainbow Alliance for the Deaf. East Side Pride is a sober event.

Sunset Beach
Vancouver Frontrunners (VFR) and the Vancouver Pride Society (VPS) are thrilled to announce the return of PRIDE Run & Walk + Picnic kicking off Pride Week on Sunday, July 24th. Pride Run & Walk offers a 5.5k walk or run route along the scenic waterfront. Costumes are a highlight - there are prizes!.

This year we're exploding the beer garden, with the party spilling out from the Community Stage at Davie Street's historic Rainbow Crosswalk at Bute Street, where you can pound the pavement to some of the city's hottest talent and witness the annual Wimple-In ceremony of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Come out and celebrate with LGBTQ+ community groups and artists from around Vancouver, as well as the businesses of Davie Street!

Pack the house for a premium party with parade commentary provided by a special guest! Watch the 38th Annual Pride Parade from the comforts of The Boathouse in English Bay. Enjoy breakfast provided by the inspired chefs at The Boathouse before the parade reaches English Bay at approximately 12:45pm then watch the parade from open-air bistro level or from the air conditioned second floor, giving you a unique vantage point. Tickets are $45.

Celebrate Pride in one of Vancouver's most beautiful waterfront parks! Browse through over one hundred exhibitors in our Pride Market, including local artisans, supporters and community organizations. A variety of bands, drag performers and speakers will be featured on the main stage, with DJs spinning in the beer garden throughout the day.

Join us for one of the most beautiful and diverse parades in the world. The Vancouver Pride Parade was granted civic status in 2013 and is one of the city's flagship events! Attracting crowds of more than 650,000, the Pride Parade is renowned on the international stage as one of the largest and most successful LGBTQ2+ events in the world. 

Come down for the hottest day Vancouver has all year, but don't forget to bring your sunscreen, hat and water!  Temperatures run high on Parade day, so keep out of the sun and stay hydrated!
