This neighbourhood friendly event is held on the traditional ‘Stonewall' weekend. East Side Pride represents an important outreach opportunity with communities outside of the West End. This neighbourhood friendly event is attended by local community organizations and funky artisans. Live music, food, fun and a little bit of Pride history right in McSpadden Park. East Side Pride provides the perfect Saturday outing.
Gay Day @ Playland

Playland at the PNE
This is a uniquely fun LGBTTQ event at Playland. The crowd comes out wearing red shirts causing a sea of red on rides, at games and around the beer garden! Your favourite carnival games, rides, roller coasters, corn-dogs and candy floss are all there, as well as private area with live entertainment and a beer garden.
Picnic in the Park

This is a popular summer's event for Pride and those who like a picnic. An outdoor beer garden and a selection of DJ's spin music throughout the day. There are kids activities, face painting, games, balloons and a barbeque. For the adults in the crowd, there are games of tug-a-war, the high heel shoe toss, drag races and the infamous watermelon eating contest. This is a great day with prizes and plenty of FUN!
Pride Movie Night in July

The Last Wednesday of every month the Vancouver Pride Society and Denman Cinemas host a movie night for the members of the LGBTTQ community. Half of the ticket sales come back to Vancouver Pride Society. Tickets are $10 - so come out and support a local business and the Vancouver Pride Society. Movie announced monthly. We honour Terry Wallace, one of the founders of Vancouver Pride, with a pancake Breakfast. This community breakfast is by donation and offers all a chance to take in Pride. The community churches cook it up at this Pride breakfast tradition.
