events and activities year round.
Commercial Drive,
known locally as “The Drive” is a popular neighbourhood for
Vancouver’s lesbian community. This funky, East side
neighbourhood is packed with great, reasonably price ethnic
restaurants, cafes, shops and services.
East Side Pride
takes place in the heart of The Drive and is an Official Pride
Event to help the VPS kick off Pride Season on June 30/07. The East
Side Pride Dance takes place that evening with
entertainment and dance. The Drive can be easily accessed by car
and transit.
Off The Drive, there are also many exciting
events that take place at various locations throughout the city.
