The StandOUT awards (formerly Legacy Awards) is an awards night to acknowledge individuals who have contributed to the LGBTQ2+ community in Vancouver over the years. There are six broad award categories this year which recognize the individuals who are making changes within the community.
This year our event will be catered by Milestones, and presented by special guest Celebrity Chef Jack Demers from Chopped Canada. With a cash bar before presentations, be sure to come early... and stay late to congratulate recipients and say hello to our host Zain Meghji from Daily Hive.
EAST SIDE PRIDE

Kick off the Pride Season at the site of the historic Stonewall Festival! East Side Pride offers a chance to take in the work of local artisans and learn more about community groups doing important work in and with the LGBTQ+ community in Vancouver. Look forward to acoustic performances by local bands and serenades by some of the East Side’s top drag performers.
Grandview Park, like all of Vancouver’s parks, is completely accessible. Shade tenting will be provided beside cement pathways for those with mobility issues. ASL interpreters and a signing area will be provided by the B.C. Rainbow Alliance for the Deaf. East Side Pride is a sober event.
PRIDE SPORTS DAY AND PRIDE RUN/WALK

Vancouver Frontrunners (VFR) and the Vancouver Pride Society (VPS) are thrilled to announce the return of PRIDE Run & Walk + Picnic kicking off Pride Week on Sunday, July 24th. Pride Run & Walk offers a 5.5 k walk or run route along the scenic waterfront. Costumes are a highlight - there are prizes!.

This year we're exploding the beer garden, with the party spilling out from the Community Stage at Davie Street's historic Rainbow Crosswalk at Bute Street, where you can pound the pavement to some of the city's hottest talent and witness the annual Wimple-In ceremony of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Come out and celebrate with LGBTQ+ community groups and artists from around Vancouver, as well as the businesses of Davie Street!

Pride Festival @ Sunset Beach:

Celebrate Pride in one of Vancouver's most beautiful waterfront parks! Browse through over one hundred exhibitors in our Pride Market, including local artisans, supporters and community organizations. A variety of bands, drag performers and speakers will be featured on the main stage, with DJs spinning in the beer garden throughout the day.

Come down for the hottest day Vancouver has all year, but don't forget to bring your sunscreen, hat and water! Temperatures run high on Parade day, so keep out of the sun and stay hydrated!
